    "NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"
  • Hi. PLEASE COUNT ME IN! I love the title of this thread, it really sums up how I feel, like I'm squaring up to an enemy! I have just rung Barclaycard and my debt to them is at this precise moment £1419.91. Fortunately it is at 0% interest but that expires 4th April. I've been working hard to pay off debts for the last few years and I'll be so excited to see this last one go (apart from the mortgage, obviously). I've just finished paying off my car so that will help but it will mean tightening my belt quite a bit. I've signed up for the crazy "Only £100 to spend on clothes challenge" so I have to keep focused.

    Good luck everyone!

  • Hi. Off to a good start! Just paid off £19.19 to make debt a nice even £1400. Standing order goes out tomorrow for £50 and have just siphoned off £300 into savings to put towards debt. I need to pay debt off at rate of £350 a month! (Can just squeeze in payment from April's salary before the deadline.) Gulp! Should be easy as car payment £150 has gone and mortgage now £150 cheaper than it was but then things were really tight in those days. I was beginning to enjoy breathing a bit more easily but I suppose I can cope with having a very tight belt for a mere 100 days.

I think we are all going to have to lean on each other through the tough times ahead.

Fingers crossed Paps will start a new one not long after this one finishes. Think there was a few weeks between the last one and this one.
