Paying my fathers credit card

I want to pay my fathers credit card payment and have some questions. I only have the card in my possession and not the monthly statement. He has it but at a different location. I know the min amount to pay and it is a NatWest card.

1. Can I pay the minimum monthly payment for that card at a NatWest bank somehow, even though I am not the official card holder?

2. How long does it take to clear, if cash is paid in?

3. Since I don't have the statement, would they give me a form to complete or would I just hand the card in at the cashiers till?

Thanks,

Steve

you could use fast pay online banking and that will be next day, your online banking should have their details already stored and his long card number is normaly the ref

Shouldn't be a problem - it's just the same as transferring cash to somebody else's bank account (you may have to do security stuff to set up a new payment instruction).

[edit] dunno about your account, but HSBC has a list of various credit cards, utilities etc to pick from, then you just enter the card/account number to set up a new one.

you dont have to be, have you got online access with your own bank, if so go online and have a look for the payments section, there will usually be an option to "pay a bill" and you should be able to do it via that, depending on how their online access works, you can usually seach for the company (ie natwest credit card in this case) alternativly they may need an account number and sort code for natwest and then a reference number which would be the 16 digit card number
