It's not particularly relevant, as the full year SA and non SA figures must match.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Halifax SA doesnt work like that, they can take from previous months to readjust the current. Ie it's all made up.0 -

Rough maths, a 0.8% drop will still lead to double figure YoY figure.

Double digit HPI since trough is here now......
+ 10.6% national,
+ 19.7% Aberdeen.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

But, but...
You seemed to be more than happy to quote the Halifax figures as gospel when house prices were falling:

Very strange turn around now that they are climbing! Or is it the case that only negative figures are correct?"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
