Debt and relationships

  • Hi Little Miss Slim,

It might be helpful if you sat down and went through what you owe to who, and make a spreadsheet of it. I am a bit of a sucker for a spreadsheet I have to admit, so if you want me to send the template to you drop me a PM and I'll send it to you.

This might help you show your husband exactly how much debt you are in, and how you plan to pay it back, how long it will take etc? I've found it really helpful, and quite often go back in and see how much earlier I can be debt free if I increase payments etc.

Then you have a date in sight for being debt free and you can both look forward to having actual money to spend... guilt free!!

Good Luck and keep us all posted.....
