Thanks for this - what a brilliant link - I think I will have a go at the little rabbits and maybe make them into keyrings for the older kiddies at easter.

The knitted yellow easter chicks with the cream egg inside are very easy to knit. I used to make them - found pattern online - my Mum makes loads of these for fundraising. The trick is to find the shop that sells cream eggs for the least possible money, as if you do that, it's a nice llttle easter gift and cheap, as you can knit quite a few from just one ball of yellow dk wool, a square of felt will make tons of beaks and you only need a little piece of ribbon to tie round their necks. Last year, Mum adapted the pattern and made teeny tiny ones and popped one of the wrapped mini-eggs inside. They looked very cute.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever

I put a request on 'craft thread' about making eggs out of material and someone gave me a link but it's in my 'favourites' and can't seem to get it out to put on here -but if you google 'fabric easter eggs' quite a few come up..................nice idea if you're a non-knitter like me.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
