Hi,
I hope someone can help me before I will have to pay for the engineer to come out and sort my oven.
Basically I have an Hotpoint cooker, top oven will not stay on, when I turn the knob on and the flame is coming I usually have to keep the knob pressed for about 10 sec and then the flame stays on. But since last week it won't stay on.Grill is working fine though and the bottom oven is fine as well.
Anyone knows what's wrong with it??Please? Thanks.

To be honest as its a gas appliance I would pay for someone to fix it. Some jobs are simply not worth the risk if you mess it up and as far as I'm concerned messing with a gas appliance is about as risky as it gets.0
