Morning all
Im finally going to take the plunge and go for a mac, I wonder if someone can help with a question I have? I currently have/use Roxio media creator to compile/edit footage of family moments, caught on the camcorder, then burn to disc to play though a DVD player etc....
Does Apple have a product that will also do this function and allow me to burn to disk, I have seen iMovie, but cant find any mention of that actually burning productions to DVD ?
Many Thanks in advance !

i haven't done it myself (i don't have a video camera) but from the iMovie help files:
"You can send your finished movie directly to iDVD, and then create a professional-quality DVD featuring your movie."
and iDVD came with my Mac too.0 -
You can get Roxio for mac if you want but IDVD does the job0

You can use IMovie to create your project, add edit scenes and add music then this can be burnt to DVD.0

You can also sign up to free classes at a Mac store so someone can show you how create a project in IMovie, they get booked up pretty quick though.0
