on my 30 minute lunch break so can be on here legit :D

Work have decided to run my course so I have work to do over the coming week to devise/prepare it all. Bum. I wanted this half term off going out working at night.

Like a ghost ship at work. About 6 people in total are here in comparison to over 30 (and then learners during term time!). Am now on my own in the office upstairs with just the radio for company for the afternoon.

  • Hello everyone

Had a great time with Ames yesterday, Sherlock Holmes was excellent, I don't usually like Jude Law but he was very good in it.

Nando's was good too (nom, nom, nom) NHS 20% discount :T

Took a while to find the car after the flicks, even when there are huge antlers on the top of it!!!!
It does help if you look on the right floor though

Wanted to come on here when I got home but hubby gets a 'monk on' if I'm on every night

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Hope everyone is okay x

How are you feeling today fire?

    Getting there x

I woke up in a panic of dread and denial, rushed to my computer to check my emails, and found out yesterday WASN'T a horrible horrible nightmare.
A few hours of heartache later, it seemed to get easier as I actually managed to get dressed today :o:o:o:o

Glad you enjoyed Sherlock Holmes, I may go and see it in January if I can get a babysitter for DD.

That is one of the worst things fire, when you wake up and just for a second or two you forget.....and then it comes rushing like a tidal wave the realisation of what has happened :grouphug:

Interesting morning for us, well if you find having to scour about garages looking for one with a recovery vehicle who also has the time to sort out our car by Monday.

    £30 recovery + cost of fixing it:mad:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Louise, I really hope that it doesn't carry on for long. I thought I was having a heart attack this morning as my heart was pounding at 100mph.

£30 for recovery? That's really high. My brother got recovered from the motorway for £13.50 last week

My mother has rung to say not to bother going to see her on New Years day cos she will have just come out of hospital and the weather up there is really bad. It has upset me.

I know my mother loves me, she really does, but she doesn't seem to understand that people might want to walk through water to see if she is okay.

I am much the same though....
