Wow. Is it related to dental surgery issues or am I just getting hooked on the word I understand?
I've just been and hung the washing out upstairs. My neighbour had hers out on the line today - in the pouring rain. Surely it is not worth putting it out in winter, however would it dry in winter days?
I have lots of journal articles that came up on a search - variable quality - thank goodness for my professional subscription that lets me access them via my professional institute. Hopefully some of them will add to my knowledge somewhat!Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

You are correct!
I'm doing a Graduate Certificae in infection control and my field is dentistry which is why I've chosen that subject.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I hate writing essays... It's taking for ever! I've spent most of my day in the library..0

My field is HR (hence a topic like employee engagement with organisational culture). Mine is part of working towards being Chartered. It is the last academic bit I need to do (although the institute are changing the rules as we speak...) and the accademic bits form a post graduate diploma. I did/do want to go on and top it up to a masters but I need to recover my enthusiasm for that bit.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Linda, I'm going to give you the easy answer. A filter.
No, scratch that. A HEPA filter
Pint, amazingly, wants to go up town. Now I need to decide what I want to wear, what make-up I want to put on and what perfume to use. And I think I have less than an hour!** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

            I'm so bored.
Nothing on tv again. I have spent an hour updating my Brownie's details (I need to be really bored to do that trust me) and am about to watch something I recorded on Christmas Eve 2008 - yes 2008!
Humph!0 -
Oh, I love these earrings. Got them today from Claire's, there's a pair that's meant to be records and they look like flat boobs, with a bright pink nipple! I am SO wearing them!** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I'm quite suprised how many of us here are studying. Studying and debt are interesting because qualifications are seen as a good way of getting a better paid job but the costs put you into debt so you need the better paid job! Nice to see so many OU students tho. I did a module with them about 10yrs ago and thought it was very good, but I find face to face university tuition is so much cheaper, even though the quality is quite variable between the staff.Debt at highest: £8k. Random question from Pap... When would you class a pc unit as out of date/useless? I was having a discussion with lil bro the other day saying how I would like to buy a new case for my main pc. The pc is 4 year old nearly and although I have updated it some of it is still 'old' but its fine for me. However its never had any major problems etc. He replyed saying it wasnt worth just changing the case as it would be cheaper to buy a whole new tower
Aside from environmental issues I explained that I couldnt really afford a new pc now and this is cheaper, to which he replyed put it on your credit card :rotfl:
In the new year I am planning to start a new sealed pot for a pc in 2011 unless emergencys come first but when would you feel you 'need' a new pc?0 -
            Hi
I'm studying too for a MSc in Housing but have had in on hold for 9 months since I had my babies.....dreading going back to work and doing this studying too, eek.
Elfen, I stopped smoking a year and a half ago and it was really hard, it was the nth time I had tried it and my husband continued to smoke but I was pregnant and that was the only thing that stopped me starting again, tbh. I feel really good that I managed it though and I was a really committed 20 a day for 20 years smoker.....go for it!
