is anyone else having a problem with their site, i find the hotel i want and go to check availabilty and the page just wont budge, it happened for ages tried clearing cookies but no good, would rather go though site than calling as would like to use quidco too

Yes me too and to be honest when eventually I got to the prices page it didn't seem that much of a bargain. I guess its the "Hilton" word people are paying for.

Just wondering if its possible to use tesco clubcard vouchers for this 50% sale?

Hilton hotels are included on the clubcard rewards scheme at 4x face value. However the terms and conditions for redeming clubcard vouchers states you must telephone central reservations rather than book online... and also...

"Reward tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, internet offer, scheme or promotion."

so not sure if this means you cant use them with the 50% sale?

Beware - their prices have risen quite a lot since last year. Last January we stayed at a particular Hilton and paid £88 for two nights bed and breakfast in their January Sale. The same weeked this year is coming up at £129 - quite a steep increase on last year. I was really excited about their sale, but at those prices I don't think I'll bother.

Have just phoned Hilton booking line and you cannot use the tesco vouchers in conjunction with the 50% off offer. Tempted to book two nights in November for my daughters 16th but worried I might find a better bargain. Would like the treat of staying in a hotel other than a travelodge to be honest!

thanks for that bit of info re: the tescos vouchers. As I thought really!

Oh and you arent the only one who fancies something a bit more than a Travelodge for a change! Once you youve seen one.... youve pretty much seen them all!

Has anyone stayed there - I understand it is out of the congestion zone and has free car parking - very impressed!

The car park isnt huge, but we managed to get a place.

We stayed in a suite - thanks to Mr T! We had a balcony and we overlooked the Thames and Canary Wharf - truly fantastic - My OH is 50 next year and so I will be treating him again!!
