am rather excited now - booked the theatre tickets just before christmas - we are going to see we will rock you at the dominion theatre and now staying at the london docklands - thank you

Has anyone stayed there - I understand it is out of the congestion zone and has free car parking - very impressed!

Keep trying to book for a weekend in Sheffield for a swimming competition but I get so far and then get Error on page and it won't go any further, think I will give them a ring later on today and book it.

I was looking but £124 for a twin room was best i could get. I left it as i found a 5* hotel with a pool and fabulous rooms for £100 the night on late rooms.

Which station will you be travelling from? That will then determine which London station you will arrive at, and someone can then confirm what is the closest to the station/attractions.

having a look seems to be victoria station/or victoria bus stati:confused:on depending if i travel by coach or train
  • Danemi1, I have stayed at the Hilton docklands on many occassions, a lovely hotel.
Yes it is faraway from the congestion zone and has an underground car park which is free!! Tremendous views across the river to Canary Wharf, especially at night when all lit up.
There is a free hotel shuttle bus that runs at 15 minute intervals to and from the nearest underground station which is on the Jubilee Line, so only a small handful of stops from central London. From hotel lobby to the west end in less than 30 minutes!
