help my boiler is dead

i have no clue how to restart it it the only words i can find on it are myson apollo there is one button that says high or low. if i stand on my tipy toes i can see a flame, it used to be much abigger flame (even if i turn everything off its still there tho(no hot water no heating) i have tryed taking the big metal cover thing off but it will only jiggle and i dont want to go mental and rip it off incase i explode.lol i can take a photo if that helps any one know what i can do? do i need to call the concil? i really dont want to..... any one?

grrrrrr never mind after 2hours of me crying at it beging it and selling my soul for some heat it finaly comes to life!!!! i have no clue what was wrong but thouch wood its fixed

Anyway at least you got it sorted.

Just a word for general consumption though. removing the cover of the boiler isn't always such a good idea. On some, but not all, of the modern ones the cover has a seal and forms part of the gas train. In that case its RGI territory into which you should not venture.
