euros to sterling large amount

any one got any pointers for a large amount of Euros(€200,000 +) ,either check or bank transfer .wanting to find the best deal i.e rate and charges.

    For that kind of amount, any bank should be more than willing to give you an excellent rate. You also seem to have timed it well, as after a prolonged period at 0.68-0.69 levels, the Euro-Sterling has finally reached 0.7 levels and have been there for sometime now.

    Ask for a special rate from the Treasury / Dealing room at your bank, they'll be more than happy to oblige.
    It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!
