bought a cardigan on the 2nd june. Postage was Royal Mail standard Parcels.
Item has not arrived. Had initial contact with seller who told me "This item was posted out on Thursday(8th), I do have reciept of this to. SO if you have no joy by Saturday, I will see what we can do."
I emailed the buyer on the Monday(19th) and Wednesday(21st) and heard nothing so I did an item not received through Paypal.
I'm now getting
"Hi there,
Becuase the item was sent standard parcel, I only have the reciept of when I sent it. I can scan this and provide you with a copy tomorrow. Other items I sent turned up. Sorry about this but it really is a royal mail error.
Sorry
Lenny "

the seller should be refunding you the full amount and claiming from royal mail.

Assuming by 'going through paypal' you mean you have started a paypal chargeback, then that is good. Her argument is now with paypal, not with you. As she cannot prove delivery she cannot win the chargeback.
Keep her emails in case you need them and stick with the paypal chargeback. If you wanted to respond then just point out that sending it by parcel post means she has a receipt (they give them automatically for parcels) so all she needs to do is to settle the refund with paypal and reclaim her own losses from the rM after 15 working days. Neither of you are then out of pocket.
