Options
Couple of questions,,,, fantastic advice here, but how do you know if certain coupons will scan? i have been miffed when i get a £1 or £1.50 coupon and it wont go through the till.

Also , do Morrisons accept coupons on items not purchased?

A good indicator is the reverse of the coupon, look for a Corby Northants address in the retailers section this indicates it will go through a clearing house, which in turn is indication it is actually a manufacturers coupon, if the store sells the product then it will scan. Morrisons do indeed take coupons but knowledge of this by their staff is patchy. Try them what's the worst they can say NO! At best you get to walk out with all your shopping free, a fair gamble I would say.

Our Local Morrisons won't Tight Ken has tightened up and hasn't taken any unless you bought it for years, perhaps call them in advance and ask what their coupon policy is

I know someone who works in Morrisons Barry and have been told under no circumstances will they take the vouchers without buying the products.

Anyway, I like savings my points with Mr T so I will always be a Tesco chick !

at the moment my local tescos...will take any amount of one type of voucher......i was shopping last night, and the sa called the supervisor over to check... as she was new.... and the sup....said take all.. as long as the till accepts them....then he also told her they get the money back on them plus a handling charge.......but as i have said in other posts in ther threads...you should take each store as an indivdual...as each store manager will have different views on the policy.....but nothing ventured nothing gained... as some one said earlier...the worst they can say is no....but dont stop trying....you never know when they might change policies....good luck...............
