Hi there, i was hoping i could please have a little bit of advice?
I have my statements from the horrid period when i used a Citicard credit card from the date November 1999 to July 2004 and i see that i was paying for 'Cardholder Repayment Protection', it totals around £105, please can anyone tell me is it far too late to make a claim against them?

Hi there
I take it they just added this protection and you did not ask for it?
Its not too late, and its also good that you still have the statements to support this, so go for it.

Well thank you for your kind reply, i shall get on this today! Much appreciated!! :T
Oh, just one more thing- years ago i successfully reclaimed my charges from Citicard('Late Payment' fees, 'Overlimit' charges, they were the most difficult company i've ever claimed against) but i now notice that there were strange charges i never noticed before-On every cash withdrawl i had a 'Finance charge' of around £4 per month totalling around £50! I understand that i had to pay a 'cash handling' charge for cash withdrawls and i dont dispute that but does anybody know if these 'Finance charges' are reclaimable after so long?
Im a newbie to this forum but im a big fan and i cant wait to get helping wherever i can.!!Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!0 -

These charges may be reclaimable, not certain but if its not PPI related, then its worth finding out more on the reclaiming charges thread where you will get help with this matter on the thread here:
