Have just reinstalled my laptop (running on vista) have been told previously on here that the programmes i was using for anti spyware etc werent that great! Was previously using Spybot S&D, Adaware, and Spyware Blaster along with Ccleaner and Malware Bytes.
Have just installed Avira back on here, so before i installed the programmes that i usually use i thought i would ask if there was any better out there that i could be using!
Any advice appreciated
TIA

Would that be all that i needed?
I have to say the laptop is running much faster now than it was before (have had it just over 18months) despite the fact i cleared it off completely before reinstalling itBut none of the programmes that i had on here picked anything up at all
Also the laptop came pre installed with Microsoft Office 2007 however i never got an activation code for itIs there anyway to get one? Or would i be better off uninstalling it and using something like OpenOffice?

open office will do and its free
some companies have agreements with Microsoft that allow you to buy Office for a token £10 , normally only big corporations though.
I would only install and run other programs if I thought I had an infection, I have faith in MalwarebytesEx forum ambassador
