I have just found a great plugin, its that great I thought I would share it with the forum

This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2 GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files (up to 10MB) between your hard drive and gmail.

Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files.

Ive just tried it and it works really well

Just watch, there's been a program called g-drive that was available ages ago.

They always said google were actively trying to stop you using your inbox as a file storage space. And as such you may lose files on there, so don't store anything valuable.

Other than that I think it's a brilliant idea.

Yeah its in their terms and conditions! if they find you using this they will delete your account.. which is strange considering there are rumours that there are working on a internet drive to store all your stuff anyway lol

This company has been bought by FON. Yes that company offering free wireless routers. :T :T

They have been funded the sum of $22 Million last year by Google and Skype (BBC News article) and on offering you access to the Google Mail storage and giving you 2.5GB of FREE storage is more likely to be in synch with Google than any other company. In fact on the Gspace site they tell of the fact that this is the the ONLY way to do so now. Maybe others have been blocked?

A quick look at the legals on the Gspace site declares:
"this extention is no way affiliated with google and google has not endorsed this extension. by installing this extension, you assume all risks related to its use."

I use Gspace, but I do find it quite slow, but it is a worthy extension to firefox.
If you just want to store documents you can always just create a draft email in gmail and store them that way.
