Hi
I am thinking of getting my driveway surfaced in resin bound gravel or resin bonded. Does anyone have any experience of this ? Can you recommend anyone or know what it costs etc etc
Many thanks
Sue

How big an area is involved? If it's greater than 5 square metres you'll need planning permission now as resin-bonded gravel appears to be non-permeable as it's laid on a concrete base. See here
Didn't know much about this stuff until looking at paving expert website ...loads of info on that site that you may find of use.
No idea as to costings i'm afraid...best bet is to get a few quotes in from tradesmen (preferably recommended one's).0 -
I had a job done last year and there didn't seem to be many decent companies doing this. Addagrip seemed to be one of the main companies so I got a quote from them for 225m2 and they quoted £14,175 + VAT.
I then found a couple of other companies as this seemed high and the one that I went with was Resin Bonded Surfaces Ltd.
They did the job for £6,075 + VAT and were efficient, polite & professional.
Good luck
