West Highlands - snow turned to ice before XMas, got out today for shopping - first time since a week past thursday. Roads were okay, but our track was iced up - had to dig out track & lay grit.
Very, very cold -12 during the day at Contin on the way over to Dingwall.
Snow is forecast, but such a clear bright night - really freezing. Can't keep the ice off the sheeps water.
