Doubt anyone lives near Blackburn but on the 3 day (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) market there is a stall which sells mainly out of date stuff. They currently have Tassimo Espresso and Decaf pods for £1... and I am sure they were not out of date (can check tomorrow if anyone wants).

Only was looking in case they had Senseo pods but we don't really need pods any more as we have a CoffeeDuck for the Senseo so we can use whatever coffee we like.

Its costing me a fortune in pods, especially as it takes 2 to make a decent sized cup. Grrrr!
When I bought some at Sainsburys the other day a £1 off coupon go printed out for me!
I promised my oh I would go to Starbucks less if I got this machine but unfortunatelymy NEED for skinny caramel macchiato is too strong!!
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!

I bought the Philips Senseo before Christmas when it was on half price and do think the pods are quite expensive.

If the pods are the same for the Tasimo machine you can get them in Lidals for 1.49, I think they are actually better than Senseo as you can get 2 cups out of one pod so have a nice mug of coffer.

There is Kenya and Brazil, the Kenya one is strongest.

    hope this helps
  • Tassimo are different unfortunately. If you drink multiple cups each day it can be a bit heavy on the shopping bill!

getting fed up with asda being oos of cappuchino all the time. hav to have me daily fix of chino:D
  • Check out ebay for pods. Some sellers on there if you buy in bulk and can work out somewhat cheaper than the Tassimo site or supermarkets especially when they combine and discount the postage
