wondering approx the cost of building a garage ?
we have a garage already but TBH its a wreck, leaky and needs a new roof and doors etc
so we have decided that maybe its best to knock it down and start again !!?!!
esp as we want to actually use it as an extension to the house ,with a utility area ,study area for hubbys work ,place for the kids larger toys, footy table etc
so we will need heating ,adequate lighting ,plumbing for washing machine etc etc
we are going to get some quotes but was just wondering if anyone has had a garage built and what the approx cost was
Thanks

I had my garage knocked down and rebuilt, we have an old Victorian house so you can imagine the state of the old garage! It had to come down. We were roughly 9k to get this done with remote control door. My dad did the electrics so that cut back some of the costs.
LeonaEnvy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -
We built our own, well it was an oak framed kit. http://www.roundwoodconstruction.com/welcome.htm# and then click the red DIY box on the left hand side. Worked out to be very inexpensive and it looks lovely. We built it less than 30m3 so that we were under Building Regulations.0
