EasyJet Hold Baggage

I'm trying to book an easyjet flight and pre-booking my hold baggage (london to spain & back). Two of us will be flying and will need an bag each. When booking only easyjet automaticly adds two hold baggages allowences (at extra cost) between the two of us with a combined total weight of 40kg.

Now as we have a bag each to fly out with and fly back with, do we need 4 bags? or dose the 2 bags include the return flight.

I just dont want to be flying home and slaped with a extra charge, but at the same time i dont want to pay for somthing i dont need!

Any HELP?

The baggage charge is for the return trip, you book one case each after you have selected the return flights. Be aware that I have found cases that were within weight at the UK airport weigh over at the foreign airport even after we have left the shampoo, sun cream etc at the hotel so actually have less weight.

If you want 1 hold bag each then you pick the 2 hold bags option not 4, but there is a loophole on luggage with easyjet. If there are 2 people travelling on 1 booking and pick the 1 hold bag option you can actually take 1 hold bag with upto 32kg weight limit without paying for 2 hold bags, but i dont know how you check in the person who hasnt hold luggage if you have to check in online or pay extra to check in with you at check in.
I know i havent explained this very well perhaps someone else can send you the link of another thread that explained all about this or you could search for it.

Happens all the time in UK airports too. I've seen up to 5kg variation in Stansted before!
