in Credit cards
Hi guys!! I hope you're all well and saving money!
I'm a 20 year old medical student in London, and I've been reading Martin's tips on credit cards.. Now, I was always told to steer clear of credit cards, but listening to Martin, it seems that I MIGHT have use for one!!
I'm not in debt and theres good credit in my debit account (Natwest student) all the time, so I was considering whether it would be smarter me getting a cashback credit card, and using direct debit to pay it off in full..??
Would that be the most sensible thing to do? or is there some secret student form that I can fill out which might unlock hoards of gold and diamonds for us poor students? haha :rotfl:
As I'll be 21 in October, might there be a higher chance of getting a (better) card then, if I wait? If not, what's the best cashback card that a student is likely to be able to get?
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated! :T

The difference of a couple of months wont affect your credit rating. There are cards designed for students who generally have poor credit and little income but the offers with them tend to be more gimicy than useful.
If you say your bank balance is always in credit then what other earnings/ income do you have coming in?All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
