Avast driving me crazy

I seemto have gotten rid of the redirection virus but now Avast is driving me crazy
Every 5 minutes I'm getting a malware warning about a file in my temp folder i.e.
C:\Windows\temp\klmr.tmp\svchost.exe ,
everytime the warning goesoff it is exactly the same thing, except the folder klmr.tmp changes name.
I have moved dozens of these to the chest,then got sick of it and deleted the contents of the temp folder, but they just keep coming back.
Please help.

Malware name: Win32:Rootkit-gen [Rtk]
Malware type: Rootkit
VPS Version: 091229-0, 29/12/2009

Try running a boot time virus check. Because Windows won't be running Avast catches more nasties this way.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

safe mode or bootscan using avast. Clean out your temp folder and recycle bin manually.!!
