in Credit cards
Please can anyone give advice please.
I brought a kitchen from a company who I meet at the Ideal Home Show.
I payed over £6000 for them to install the kitchen. Don't like finance so I paied on the credit card.
Any how to cut long story short they started on April 23rd. Should of taken a week most. They left the job half done with loads of bodge ups and no connected cooker. They need to still put in ventilation for it.
Contacted trading standards and have done every thing they said to do.
Gave them 30 days to finnish the job before going to credit card company. Mint asked me to give them yet another 30 days. This 30 days is now up. I still have a bodged Kitchen with bits missing and no working cooker.
Called Mint only to be told that I have had my account credited but must not spend any of the money. They have given the kitchen company yet another 45 days in which to come back and finnish the work. They can come back on day 44 put every thing right and have the money taken from my account.
Can this really be right. I feel so sick have not eaten a proper meal in months. I have two kids under 3 who have had to eat microwave meals.
Do I really have to waite till August to have a kitchen finnished that started in April.
Any Advice please.

I would write a letter to Mint asking where in their terms and conditions this term is written. Also point out under the Consumer Credit Act that they are jointly liable with the company whether they like it or not.
What to do next - Either tell Mint and kitchen company that the work is totally unsuitable and ask them to remove all items from within your house within 28 days - this would leave you again kitchenless but this deal is then dead and buried and any card debt is then between Mint and the kitchen company, or
Give them this final 45 days and unless everything is completed to your complete satisfaction tell them that you will get another company in to finish the job and you will hold both the kitchen company and Mint jointly responsible for any costs incurred.
I would then seek legal advice about seeking compensation about the delays.0
