Aureol i have excel 2007 full copy
I can't insert another row to add someone without knocking out the background graphics?
i tried to do something similar to what my other had done when i had the issue before , i tried to insert a new sheet row,
but the colours on the lines below all go out of synch, he done something which took a few seconds to rectify it, but i cant think what x
If i mess with the background im worried abput losing it, so keep ctrl Z to get back to the original state xxxx
really appreciate ur help x
Whatever i try knocks all the row colours out of synch itms x My son had a quick look but he said about dragging a row down, but that doesn't work xx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Ok, I am rusty at this, and I am sure there was an easier way to do this, but can't remember how, but what I have worked out is:
highlight from the first coloured square to the last coloured square the row where you want to insert another row, ie below it.
then, on the very last square, with the colour in, go to the very edge of the square, until you see a tiny black cross, click on the cross and hold it down, then drag the row including the black cross down.
This will create another coloured row. Then highlight the coloured row, right click and format cells, choose patterns, select white colour, click ok.
this allows you to enter an additional row without losing the formatting. just going to check if formulae are still in there.0 -
I just tried but it didn't do it xxx
