powerpoint

hiya

would anyone know if there is a free version of powerpoint we don't have ms products and we use open office

never used powerpoint before but would like to have a go

we tried ms but it's a free trial only

ta if anyone can help

    You could certainly download MS Office 2010 Beta. Fully functional but time-limited (expires in October 2010.) ;)

    If you already have OpenOffice, the Presentation part of that should be able to open and edit existing PowerPoint presentations, and should also be able to save new presentations in PowerPoint format, although it probably won't do the latter by default.

    Is there something that you want to do that OpenOffice Presentation can't but PowerPoint can?

    not really i'm a silver surfer and not experienced with software programmes but having heard about powerpoint i thought i'd like to have a go with it.
