Morgan Stanley CC Cheques

I received some of these a few weeks ago. They were offering 5.9% on BTs for 5 months. I needed to use them to help me pay for a few things (expensive month with car insurance due) so after reading the info quickly I decided to pay £300 into my current account to help me out. On the leaflet it said that you could use the cheques to pay off your overdraft. I thought this was great and sent the cheque of to my bank. I then re-read the literature (properly) and noticed that you aren't allowed to make the cheques payable to yourself ( so how can you pay off overdraft:confused: ). Anyway I rang Morgan Stanley and the girl on the phome said that no you definitely could not make cheques out to yourself but as it was such a small amount it may go through unnoticed. So I waited to see and lo and behold it went through ok:j

Sorry for the ramble but I hope this might help someone:D
