Annoying calls from British Gas

I keep getting these annoying calls from British Gas. Were not with them were with Atlantic. The phones rings and then stops. When I ring 1471 it give me the same number and if you ring this number there's an automated message saying ''You have been contacted by Birtish Gas but you were not available when we called. We do not need to speak to you at this time as we will call you back at a future date. Thank you for calling." Something like that. Sometimes when I pick the phone up a person will answer and ask to speak to Mr ****** ( My Dad).
This is in the daytime so he's at work ( I go to college so i'm not in all the time).
I tell them that he's at work and to call back in the evening after 5, but they keep ringing in the day.

Why are you asking them to call back? I'd tell them that you are with a different supplier and don't want to be called again.

i do what zinger does, its just a habit i guess, or how about saying that mr X does reside there anymore
