Email question?

Hi
Just wondered if anyone could tell me how to send the same email to lots of contacts (approx 60) but not show the contacts on the email. I would need it to show 'undisclosed recipiants' on their copy of the email.

Hope this makes sense! I will be using Windows Mail.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure wht you mean by 'undisclosed recipients' but if you want to send it to 60 people wihtout those people knowing who else was on the distribution list just put all of the contacts in the BCC field.

Blind Carbon Copy. It does the same as CC (Carbon Copy) but hides the addresses

Historically I think that's correct, though more recently IIRC the standards (e.g. the X-series messaging standards) refer to Courtesy Copy and Blind Courtesy Copy.
  • Thanks fwor. I didn't realise that.

Yep that's what I've always been taught as well, "historically means carbon copy but ACTUALLY stands for courtesy copy".
