  • That sounds like a really good deal, Mark.

I spoke to T-mobile again to cancel my contract and they offered me the phone I was going to get on the other contract for free and gave me 300 minutes (which I will never use!) and unlimited texts all for £7.50 a month - saving me £22.50 a month over 2 years. More than enough to save and get a really good TV! Thanks to T-mobile. It really does go to show that you should try and battle them down. For the past 9 years I've just accepted the first upgrade they've given me!:rotfl:

Combine a Mobiles.co.uk deal from Vodafone on the Nokia 5530 (great touchscreen phone) for £30 per month with 600 minutes and unlimited texts, with the £240.00 auto cashback (cheque in the post within 28 days), with £50 Quidco cashback for your new contract.

Then zoom to LaptopsDirect.co.uk with your new £290.00 and buy something a lot better than the rubbish dealers buy in bulk, something like the "GRADE A1 - Acer Aspire 751h Laptop in White" for £239.97 or from eBuyer.com quickfind code 177166.

The end result is a better laptop, possibly some money in your pocket, and a much better phone.

That is a good deal and I am almost tempted - but I only pay £20 per month at the moment, don't use my phone that much, so really can't justify £30 a month.

And I'm not after an all dancing laptop either!!

In that case Mobiles.co.uk on Vodafone for the Samsung B3410, which is a touch screen with a QWERTY slider. Choose 'Your Plan 600' to maximise cashback and minutes - you'll get 600 of them, and unlimited texts. You'll also get a cheque in the post for £220.00 plus the £50.00 cashback from Quidco.

That's a £270.00 total, and this plan is only £25.00 per month rather than £30.00. For your more basic laptop, pick one of Dell's really awesome Inspiron Mini laptops, for £309.00 (remember to use Quidco to get about £9.00 back) you can get one with:
    • 10.1" Screen
    • 160GB Hard Drive
    • 1GB RAM
    • Windows 7
    • External Disc Drive

So you've got a top of the range laptop for £30.00. Here's where it gets really clever. DO NOT TAKE THE PHONE OUT OF THE BOX (unless you really like it), instead chuck it on eBay where it'll sell for approximately £90.00.

Now zoom to Vodafone's website and buy a LG KS360 for £50.00 (lovely phone) , via Quidco for £5.00 more cashback, of course. Finally, put your contract SIM in your new LG phone.

    The result:
    • LG KS360 Phone
    • Dell Inspiron Mini Laptop with Windows 7 and Disc Drive
    • 600 Minutes and Unlimited Texts
    • £65.00 in profit - so that's 2 and 3/4 months for free

    For £25 per month.
    Hope that helps,

    Mark

Blimey I'm exhausted after reading all of that! It seems to be a bit too good to be true so will do some investigating!

Thanks for the help Mark - I will let you know what I decide to do!

  • They're not a company I have worked for. However, I have used them in the past and had good results. I guess it's all down to personal experience.
    Hope that helps,

Too right it's down to experiance theres loads more threads that could be added to the list I quoted ...perhaps do a search on Google such as "mobiles.co.uk" problems
and see what comes up
