I'm seeing alot of 'offers' but not sure of the sites... but as not allowed to post links on here - can't find out if they are reputable or not! Stupid! Guess it is a new legal rule or something! Another sign of dictatorship in a free country (allegedly :rotfl: )
Awww! I was curious to see whats been offered. I love a bargain.
I'll just have to do a google when my contract expires. :rotfl:0 -
Having done a very quick bit of research, I can see nothing negative about the affordable mobiles site. The only thing mentioned that they spec of laptop on offer was not necessarily the one received. If you google affordable mobiles, it will give you the site. Some supposedly good deals on there, but I may be missing something...?0

Is that a recent thing? I've bought stuff previously, when people have posted links.

Handy for christmas, birthdays, etc.0 -
The key thing to remember about these deals is that they are paid for by giving you a cheaper phone. The Carphone Warehouse, for example, is offering a PS3 and Blu-Ray when you take out a Nokia 2330 on a £25 per month price plan, but the phone is worth just £20.
If you forfeit the gift, you can get a much better phone on the same tariff, like a BlackBerry Curve 9700, Nokia E72 or Sony Ericsson W995. If you're not interested in a snazzy phone, the free gift offers are a great idea, but if you do want a good phone - they're not so attractive.Hope that helps,
Mark
Full Disclosure If this is a mobile phone related post, I'd like to disclose that I currently work for Three retail but any posts I make are my own, and not endorsed by the company in any way. I use this forum in a private capacity.0 -

It would appear to be - I've not been on for a few weeks - and tried to post a link on this thread earlier and it wouldn't happen and someone 'said' you can't post links on here.. whether its just this forum and not others, who knows?? Bit of a b*mmer if its true...Genie

Thanks Mark, I suppose that you have to weigh up whether you can make do with a slightly poorer phone for 18 months, and get the TV. The phone I was looking at was the Samsung Tocco light, with LG 32" TV for £30 per month, 700 mins and unlimited texts. That is the price plan i am currently on, the phone i have at the moment is awful so anything would be an improvement. Have spoken to cancellations dept at T mobile and they can do the samsung tocco with 800 mins and unlimited texts for £30 month, 18 month contract which is almost identical, but no TV which I need anyway!0

I bet you could do better. £30 per month is rather alot - you could perhaps get a cheaper deal monthly for the same but not get a tv - but you have to look at it in the way that you are paying say £10 per month for a new tv, and not having a calculator at hand........ 18 months at £10 is... £180?? :T Can you buy the tv for less elsewhere?
ps An apple iphone is as much as £30 per month with Carphone warehouse - and lesser phones far cheaper!Genie
