Apologies if this has already been dealt with but I have scanned the boards and not found this exact query.
I am trying to cancel an automatic subscription renewal for Macafee. Their Support web site suggests using a chat facility, so I completed the form and then clicked on "Download Chat Client" - which promptly took me back to the support site main page - so no chat client. I tried again with the same result.
(Although you are supposed to be able to do this via email this is currently "greyed out" and not available - Christmas shutdown probably. The waiting list for phone support is 10-30 minutes.)
Does anyone know how to get round this.
I wouldn't want to suggest that they are trying to make it difficult to cancel - not at all......
Thanks all
