Replacement laptop battery

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a site for cheap laptop batteries?

My sons Acer now only works from the mains supply and the sites I have looked at the batteries are £50 - £60

PLenty of online shops or any of the sellers on Ebay. The last one I bought for a Dell I sold I got off Ebay. Originally a bit worried as it is a "smart battery" that is read by the BIOS which, if it can't read it says there's not one installed. But despite not being original Dell, it works fully. Price was a bit dearer than direct from Hong Kong but only a few quid and it was delivered next day. Comes with a 12 month guarantee. Importantly, he was fine for me to collect in person which gives me confidence
