Can i trace missing ITunes Vouchers?

Not sure if this is the right place so any mods feel free to move.
I have had a parcel go missing (whilst in transit via a courier) from some realtives and inside was a couple of ITunes Gift Cards. I wondered if there is anyway ITunes can trace if they have been redeemed or not. My Mother still has the original shop reciepts she brought them from so can that be used to trace them? It is them gift cards you use to purchase songs / apps etc from ITunes stores for your IPods.
