Forgotten router password

I have a netgear router and changed the password to access the web setup/config, but now I can't remember it.
I appreciate I can just reset the router and start from scratch but I wondered if there was a utility out there that can retrieve/hack passwords.
Thanks guys.

None that I've ever heard of. Looks like you'll have to dig out those internet settings.
Note - I usually download the config file and email it to a gmail account, then archive it...that way if you do need to pop that switch you can have the config file at the ready.0 -
You don't hack passwords, you crack them
I suggest searching google as I believe it's against forum rules to encourage others to hack/crack/pirate etc.0 -
I ended up resetting the router, never took long really, just wanted an easy way.
Never really helped me, but this a really useful piece of software I found for recovering various licence keys.
