Hope someone can advise us please.
We're coming to the end of a good 0% CC deal with Virgin but have a largish balance left over after home improvements(as it was the cheapest form of lendng to do this) and paying off what we could in the 0% deal time.
It now has about a 7k balance and the deal ends for us in March.
Can anyone please advice on a card to BT this amount to?
Many thanks as usual

Not so much where but how. You'll be lucky if you get a CC with a limit of £7K+. You may have to apply for more than one card and make more than one BT.
Halifax are doing 9 months 0% on BT's.0 -
It will depend on your credit report/rating and where you already have cards with and also who you bank with (some offer better deals to exisiting customers) - you won't get another card from the MBNA stable (which Virgin is) but could look at others on this table - http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.phpA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Cheers for replies-
Out of interest is it possible to request an extension to a 0% deal?:j0 -
Not heard of anyone getting an extension - you could possibly ask for it to be switched to a low life of balance APR by saying to them that you will move elsewhere otherwise.
EDIT: Actually I don't think Virgin do life of balance transfersA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
