Easyjet price match car hire

It's a con. Xmas Eve I got an email fromEasyjet to tell me about their new routes. In the email it also said they had fantastic car hire offers with their partner Eurocar and they would match any other hirer AND refund double the difference. I am going skiing in Feb so followed the offer to get a quote of over £310 for 8 days car hire to/from Salzburg. I already have a quote from Atlas for exactly the same period and car for £162. Pointed this out to Eurocar only to be told they had no cars for the area/period I wanted. I then went direct to Eurocar and was immediatly told they did have cars for that period. I have gone back to Easyjet but so far no reply.
