  • I believe there is an App for money saving. It's called PAY OFF DEBT and I saw an article about an interesting one which allows you to scan a product in a shop and then you can go on the internet and search for a cheaper product! That one is called RED LASER.
A quick internet search should bring them up for you!

  • And who would like to fund the development? ;)

  • I agree, an MSE iPhone Budgeting App would be good.

I have tried a number of free iPhone Budgeting apps including Spendometer which is very good but the one flaw they all have for me is that they all work on a Monthly or Weekly basis. This means that if, like me, you don't get paid at the beginning of the month then budgeting becomes a bit fiddly.

At present I use a spreadsheet which allows me to customise the Start Date and End Date for each month and then calculates my Daily Allowance based of my Starting Balance and the length of my 'Pay Month'.

Putting this spreadsheet on Google Docs means I can update my spending as I go which helps to avoid any forgotten expenditure (particularily after a night on the beers!). However, the Google Docs iPhone interface is a bit clunky especially when you get towards the end of the month and you have to scroll across a long way to get to the current date.

So if an MSE iPhone Budgeting App was developed that could do this then that would be great but if someone knows of an app that can already do this then let me know.

Not buying an iPhone saves quite a bit of money! ;)
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

  • The irony..
  • And not buying a Ferrari saves even more! :D
