  • Ive got what they call a sky eye which isnt very much money but i did pay for someone to connect it all up properly. It sits on top of your telly in your bedroom and sends a signal to the sky box.

Also had a spare remote control you might be able to pick one up second hand? You can buy them new just adds to the expense or you carry the remote up with you?

  • Hi,

you would need to run a cable from the RF2 outlet on the back of the Sky box to the bedroom, then connect a link into tv and connect cable.

Or you could use an av sender , saves you running an extension cable.

The 2 links are only examples.

    Hi,

as I said, I was only giving an idea, google av sender, and take your pick, I got mine from Argos, just for handiness.

You might find that it interferes with your wireless broadband, or vice versa, so just change channels on sender.

Mine works fine from living room to kitchen, though get interference when using the microwave, you don't use the microwave when in bed, do you? :rotfl:

Make sure you get one that allows you to change channels in bedroom.

Edit: the good thing about Argos, you can get it and try it first, and if not happy just take it back.

Personally,I woul'nt use the TV link you suggested,When I was at Sky,(& my own work)that type was always creating problems, mainly from the internal soldering between the male or female belling connection breaking away from the printed circuit.
This type is more reliable, with the block connector being seperate.
