Hooray! Another NSD on its way - can't think of anything i'll be buying today.

The Chicken stock is cooking nicely to make stew and then soup, yummy. I sold three things on ebay yesterday, have listed 2 books on amazon, and a load of stuff on freecycle. Suppose I just have to face the fact that if no-one wants it, I will have to charity shop or bin it.

    Hooray! Boo!

All of my bills have gone out today, except for the car insurance, which means that almost everything is paid, BUT i now have NO spending money for the rest of the month :( . In fact, even after my bragging when i started this diary, i may be around £25 short...hmmm..... have no idea how that happened.

Solution? Spending Diary. too late for this month - there no more money to spend, but February WILL be recorded, down to the last penny. Anyone know of a good online spending diary thing?

Still, it could be worse, there is still food in the freezer, and I still have crimbo chocs for treats - this time last year, I had no money, no treats, and barely any food. Seriously, I was stretching out the beans, making them last two days, rather than chucking the last few, so I guess it's looking up a bit!

I've sorted all the balances in my sig, and they are coming down, slowly but surely!! yay!!!

Wow! This could be 'The Sarah the Teacher' thread, although we are a popular bunch - at one point there were FOUR in my school!

Had another NSD (will update sig in a min, now 4!!), although I'm sure today will cost me a lot!

After getting up late, I hurried around in the ice, managed to skid the car, only a little, but enough to knock the wing mirror. No damage to the other car (of course!!), but the glass has gone from mine GRRR!

Anyhoo, first day back with the kids, and it was horrid! 40 kids demanding paint and brushes and "How do I make blue for my eyes?" Duh!!! And I teach ICT - go figure!!

Oh well, all quiet on the debting front, nothing paid, but nothing gained either.

    Hi everyone

I'm off to the theatre tonight, to see Cinderella! A friend bought us tickets as part of our Christmas pressie - it's become a bit of a tradition - but i will still need to buy drinks, bus tickets, taxi etc grrr.

She's one of 'those people' to whom the words "I have no money" means only pu £5 petrol in, or only have one drink in the pub. To me, "no money" means 23p left in my bank account until payday (28th). Ho hum..... yet another cause of my lack of money - keeping up with the jones'.

Still should be good - it has Paul Daniels form neighbours and the Krankies, who are much funnier now I'm an adult!

The only bill left to come out of the bank is TMobile, about 13th then i'm free!! (unless Abbey decide to slap on overdraft charges now that I'm skint)

    Hi Sarah,

You sound just like me at the moment - I don't have a penny to my name at the moment as my bank card was cloned and some scumbag cleared my account :( My parents are lending me money but they live a long way from me so I won't get it until Monday when I see them. It really isn't much fun is it? You sound like you have got a really good attitude to slashing your debt, I look forward to following your progress :)

I think you must be fairly close to me as I've heard the panto you're going to advertised on the local radio. Have fun :D

Sorry, needed a good scream - seems I take one step forwards, then two back :( . Take a deep breath, this is gonna be long and ranty!

The panto was brilliant - though it was Paul ROBINSON (Paul Daniels is the magician!!). The Krankies were funny, but lots of their act was the same as last time we saw them - still good though!

So, that was last night...it cost a bit but was good fun, especially for DD. Now I have 2.34 spare in my account, schrapnel in my purse, and £5 clubcard voucher for petrol later in the week, if I need it.

TODAY - went to spend some vouchers in Tesco, only to be remided of how much I hate it. It's only that store, not T in general. They 'remodelled' it a while back, made it a Metro, and reduced their range by 1/3. F&V is far more expensive than ASDA, so I got a really pants basket. the only saving grace was that it was 'free'.

Next I ran into Asda, parked on the levels above the Asda ones thinking it was free on Sundays, only bought a bag of poatoes and a bag of carrots, and cam out to find a parking notice stuck to my windscreen - £30 within 7 days, or £60 after that.

Just waiting for the overdraft charges to be slapped on (just my luck!!!), then i'm gonna be reallllllly stuck.

Well that's blown it! Told you the overdraft charges'd bite me in the bum, and they have

£70 gone out today, swallowed up the money for TMobile, and 7.38 Paypal that went in. I really think they're extortionate charges, and now I am £40.40 overdrawn AGAIN!! Double Grrr!

And the year started so nicely ....
