How dare they put signs up like that, don't they realise is is difficult enough for these people to drive and talk on the phone without unnecessary signs to distract them.     :-X

Today on the M20 I saw a huge HGV lorry and the bloke was rolling a fag and driving with his forearms!!!!!!!!!!!

hehehe, now that my schedule involves driving motorways again, I have to agree that MLH not only *exist* but really are laughable!

Can across a corker last week then the Dartford Tunnel was having all that trouble from a nearby fire. Hearing that there were 3hr delays, I decided to use the M20 and continue along the A20 to use the Blackwall.

By the time I'd reached the A20, for a few miles there were only 3 cars on the road (Heaven!) The car ahead of me in the inside lane, which I knew by our relative speeds I would be overtaking and a car behind me but in the middle lane.
Once I'd indicated that I was going to o/take the front car, Ms Middle Lane decided to speed up!!!!!! ::)
I o/took Mr Cautious, then continued into the outside lane to o/take Ms Middle .... having completed the o/takes, I then returned to the inside lane.

What did Ms Middle Lane do? Continued in her comfort zone of ... yup, middle lane!!! There's was nothing else on the road at this point or for a good distance after!

I don't object to being flashed out of the outside lane if that car is travelling faster than I am/want/can do - just so long as they are applying "common sense" when they apply their flashers!

There is no point flashing me out of the lane if I have nowhere to move over INTO!! ::)
