Im a first time buyer and have seen the Government scheme Homebuy Direct. Has anyone used this scheme? Do house builders inflate the cost of the homes they are selling to make up the amount they invest? Im a little skeptical - it all seems a little too good to be true.
Thanks
Mike

I believe the scheme does provide an opportunity for fits ttime buyers to get their feet on the property ladder. However, thats ok if you want what they offer. I at the time could only afford a 2 bed flat, trouble is I have a dog and considering the prices offered they did not even have a garden. I would advise to ensure that it meets your needs and it is somewhere your are happy to stay for some time.0
