Karcher robovac problems

Options
Hi all, I have had a Karcher Robovac (rc3000) for just over a year now and in the last few months it keeps going wrong. As it cost over £700 you can imagine I would like it to continue working for some time yet. It has been back to Karcher twice now and they have taken a couple of weeks to send it back each time. It has then worked for a bit and then repeated it's problem (stopping and starting- just going around in circles). So it has gone wrong again. The last time I spoke to Karcher I said what if it goes wrong again and they suggested going back to the company I purchased it from ( musthaveit.com).
So what would be the best approach now it is faulty again? I thought maybe to email the Karcher md but whilst I can find his name I can't find his email address. Should I as Karcher say go back to Musthaveit and try for a refund or replacement? I know my contract is with them and the credit card company but who is it best to go for? How do I stand legally. It is a real problem for me having to keep returning this, as I am disabled and have 2 dogs so it's cleaning capacity is very necessary.

Last time i checked "robo" hoovers dont work.

Probably cheaper paying a young relative or getting one to help you out a bit " as they should! :D

Return it to where you got it from i guess.
  • It worked really well, when it actually worked - emptied itself as well. For 8 months it was brilliant and then it just started going wrong. I think I have a duff one as all accounts I read before they were very reliable.

sounds like the norm... my wife does half the hooverring and then just stops... has cost far more than £700 to maintain and support since we married in 95 LOL

    You've got a bargain there !! LOL
