Easiest Amex card to obtain

Hi

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of applying for Amex cards. I would like to be able to use their preferred seating benefit but I am not really interested in using the card itself.

Which would be the easiest card to apply for in terms of criteria etc.?

Preferred seating is only open to Centurion,platinum.gold and BA premium plus cardholders.

All these cards are subject to an annual fee. The gold card is cheapest at £95 and also has the lowest requirement on annual income of £20,000.

If you are not going to use the card though it simply won't be worth your while. It's also worth noting Amex are pretty strict on accepting applicants. If your credit file isn't spotless you won't stand much chance.

If you think you may get accepted you could go for one of the credit cards ( cashback for example ). THis will give you access to the "all card members seating areas "

Presumably they are not as good as the preferred seats !
