Does anyone know who manufacturers sofas for Next or Marks and Spencer? I am trying to find out if I can buy direct to save money!! Am particularly interested in Next, Garda sofas. Thanks.

yes i know who they are, and NO you cannot buy direct.

Retailers often put clauses in their contracts with suppliers so that the manufacturers cannot sell directly to the public.

they also have clauses which state that no other retailer (or wholesaler) can have the same design as them.
thats why you wont see certain designs anywhere else apart from the one chain store. even though other retailers sometimes use the same factories.
