Purchased a toy hovercraft from Maplin 3 weeks ago for my daughters Christmas. Was immediately wrapped and put away. Opened today to play with it and when we extended the antenna, the top of it came away. I no longer have the recent but would be happy just to be able to exchange. Do I have this right or am I off to start emptying the bins looking for a receipt?

If you paid for it with a card, you could just print off a statement, this would be proof of purchase at least.
Good luckmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Go back to the store and politely demand some sort of refund.
Best case scenario: You get you rmoney back or somesort of voucher
Worst case scenario: They say you can't refund. But that shouldn't happen. As a consumer you have the right to return something if youre not satisfied with it.0 -

What a load of utter nonsense, OP just completely ignore this post.
You get further doing it properly, taking in proof of buying it and talking nicely. Without proof of purchase, you have no rights whatsoever.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
