I have been told that I can use a PSP as an additional controller for a PS3 as its WiFi, but dont have Internet at home, can this be done?

over remote play - yes, but its verrryyy laggy over a local network and i dread to think what its like over the internet.
i tried it myself and i tried playing a racing game using an oval track. by the time the PS3 had received the commands, i had hit the barrier at the end of the straight and spun out.0
