Memory card not working

I bought a Huawei U7510 mobile on 3 from Argos, but can't get my micro sd card to work, which does work on my Nokia 6300. It shows on the screen that the card is installed but does not list the contact numbers, even though the phone is set on phone and sim. Any suggestions please.

Are you getting the SIM card confused with your MicroSD card? Your phone is saving the numbers to the SIM, not the MicroSD as far as I can see. Contacts are usually in the SIM or the phone's memory. Try sending the contacts over bluetooth or something...0

Or, if you are using the same sim card for both phones, use the Nokia to copy all contacts to the the sim card, then your U7510 should see them as well. As almillar says, this is nothing to do with the SD card.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

Yes I now realize I was getting mixed up with my sim card and memory card. I have put them in manually cos I had to use a new sim, as I was moving from Vodafone 2G to 3 3G.0
